Tips for Teachers and Students Using Online Video Learning

It’s easy to be anxious about the goings-on in the world right now. I want to do my part to lessen that anxiety and be a resource for people who are thinking about using online video as a solution if students need to be out of school for an extended period of time.

There are many examples of resources that people have put together for dealing with this pandemic. Some companies are even giving premium features away for schools, districts, and states that have closed down. If your school is closed with no expectation of online learning, there are also suggestions for schedules and things to do while your kids are at home.

I’m going to add to these resources by sharing two lists I’ve put together. I’ve produced online webinars for synchronous learning as well as frequently participated in online videos. The first list I’ve put together is for teachers who are just starting their online video teaching. The second list I made is for students who may not have participated in this kind of environment before.

This saved me a ton. I’ve been struggling to figure out how to transition to online classes and I found your infographics easy to follow.

I noticed that your Courses tab is empty. I found this site that only lists educational resources and I think you might be able to get a lot of teaching materials from this site. I hope you check it out and I hope you help more teachers like me: https://alldigitalschool.com
