Ressurection

Having a dead blog, a blog that hasn’t been updated in over a month, is worse than no blog at all. -Eric Dye, http://churchm.ag/church-blog/

Blessed Easter season to you all! It has been quite a month and a half here for us at school.  We are in the final weekend of preparing for our musical, Cinderella Kids.  We made it through the season of Lent, with extra church services during our school day (and I had responsibilities for the evening services, too). After all that, we had our Spring Break where I unplugged from the world of education and spent time with my family. (Happy 2nd birthday to my nephew, Jacob, whose Thomas and Friends party was awesome!)

Instead of sounding like I’m complaining about all these things, I really am grateful for them, despite how busy they make me feel. On Good Friday, while directing 175 kids singing “The Power of the Cross,”  my heart swelled to hear the message of Jesus proclaimed by so many young souls.  Later that day, while participating with the choir singing the St. John Passion chorales, my conscience was pricked as again I realized that Jesus willingly endured the cross for me (and for you!).

Thank you to those of you who continued to look at LFAL while I was away.  Whether you found a post through a Google search or Twitter or whatever, I appreciate your readership. My goal is to keep posting at least once a week.  I hope I can keep up with that, unlike my fitness goals I posted at the beginning of the year. (I’ve only done one event!) 🙁  As my 8th graders are now counting down, only 26 days left of school for this year! It’s gone fast again, and I feel like I have so much more to cover before things are over!

Until next time, keep a song in your heart!
